But what is a sweep?

Balayage is the process of lightening hair, either naturally or artificially,
the partial application technique...

There are multiple techniques for different renderings:

01

ombrés : very nuanced, they add luminosity while preserving the natural base or with a slight sheen. Ideal for initial brightening on a natural base.

02

contouring : they bring luminosity to the edges of the hair like a light hallo. Discreet, they ensure a healthy glow all year round.

03

BABYLIGHTS: the idea is to achieve a very soft, natural, rather light look for a baby-blonde effect, generally on bases that are already light.

04

Californian: Reminiscent of the American TV series of the '90s, they are a benchmark for contrasting results with golden highlights and lighter tones on the ends. A real sun-kissed look for your hair, recommended for golden, matte skins.

05

Fades : they lighten the entire head of hair for a natural, youthful look.

06

reverses : On bases that are too bland, too light or even very oxidized, they reinforce depth by nuancing the pitch. Subtle but very elegant.

07

turntables: for light and cool blond/white renditions. Unlike oxidative dyes, which add pigments, the bleach will depigment dark shades and warm highlights to lighter, even platinum, shades.

Attention

Even if the organic products we use today are more effective, your natural pigmentation (melanin) will optimize the result. That's why we'll always advise you on the feasibility of your request.

The balayage process is performed on dry hair, preferably washed the day before, to avoid any filters (oil, serum, gel, etc.) that could block the lightening process.

Application time varies, but we recommend at least two to three hours.

A patina may be necessary to neutralize or bring out a reflection, or to achieve a more blended result.

After shampooing and conditioning the hair fiber, we recommend applying thermal protection.

Home care is also very important for the longevity and shine of your sweeping, which is why we recommend that you choose professional products that are more effective and efficient than mass-market products.

The world of sweeping is varied, which is why we recommend that you book a diagnostic appointment so that we can shed light - no pun intended - on your expectations and possibilities.
